Abstract:
Healthy food choices in public health raise many complex ethical questions and implications. For example, the balance between individual rights to choose their dietary habits and collective responsibility for public
health must be considered. There are also issues related to the accessibility of healthy food, advertising, and manipulation of the food industry, as
well as educating and correctly informing the population about nutrition. Bioethics provides an important conceptual and moral framework for
evaluating and addressing these healthy eating decisions in public health,
helping to balance individual and societal benefits while respecting ethical
principles and individual rights.
