Abstract:
This article presents the concept of health-related quality of life and
sociological standardization tools proposed by international institutions
(WHO, FDA, EORTC) with the aim of estimating the quality of treatment and the health-related quality of life of the population in low- and
middle-income countries (LMICs).Standardized questionnaires (WHO
QoL, SF-36, SWLS) focus on personal health (physical, mental and spiritual), social relationships, educational status, work environment, sense of
security, safety and freedom, autonomy in decision-making.
