dc.description.abstract Will be presented some of the results of a study that includes 44 patients with central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) in one eye. One of the main purposes of the study was to calculate and compare photoreceptor densities between affected and healthy eyes using the rtx1TM Adaptive Optics Retinal Camera. Using the principles of adaptive optics (AO), this fundus camera allows the acquisition of high-resolution images, up to the level of microns. Image analysis can be used to calculate the density of photoreceptors in the central area of the retina. Also, some clinical cases and the therapeutic methods used in each case will be presented. en_US
