In the interdisciplinary approaches between endocrinology and dentistry, the role of oral health for patients with diabetic neuropathy is increasingly highlighted. There is relevant data that attests to the fact that dental conditions seriously influence the general state of health. At the same time, diabetes can affect various body functions, including those in the oral cavity. Rigorous oral hygiene and adequate treatment of neuropathy can effectively manage health problems and improve the condition of the sufferer.
