Abstract:
Gynecologic cancers, including ovarian, cervical, and endometrial
malignancies, represent a significant physical and psychological burden
for affected women. The diagnosis frequently induces intense emotional distress, encompassing anxiety, depression, and a heightened sense of
vulnerability. Chronic psychological stress associated with the disease
and its treatment can provoke neurobiological alterations that impair
cognitive and emotional functioning. Consequently, an integrative and
multidisciplinary approach to patient care is essential to address both
somatic and mental health needs, thereby improving overall quality of
life and supporting long-term psychological resilience.
