In the contemporary era, along with socio-cultural development, the role of medical bioethics in clinical practice is constantly increasing. Bioethics, like any other field of science, is based on some principles, based on which problems in the management of mental illnesses will be analyzed. These principles are: primum non-nocere, respect for patient autonomy, beneficence and justice or equity.
