Abstract:
Organ transplantation represents a complex challenge that requires
an integrated and multidisciplinary approach, involving not only medical
expertise but also the essential contribution of bioethics, psychology, and
other related fields. Respecting bioethical principles, informed consent,
and human dignity—for both donors and recipients—is crucial to maintaining the integrity of the medical act. At the same time, adequate
psychological support plays a decisive role in ensuring a balanced
psycho-emotional state, significantly contributing to the success of the
transplantation process and the patient’s reintegration into social life.
