dc.description.abstract Background. In recent years, within restorative procedures applied to the anterior tooth group, where aesthetic and functional demands are particularly high - the Injection Moulding technique has been introduced and progressively refined. This technique integrates principles and elements of both direct and indirect restorative methods, aiming to achieve comparable results within a shorter working time. Objective of the study. The analysis and clinical integration of the Injection Moulding technique for the aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth. Material and Methods. The study included 28 patients, 16 women and 12 men, aged between 20 and 50 years. All patients required therapeutic treatment due to the progression of carious and non-carious lesions, with the purpose of restoring the morpho-functional and esthetic characteristics of the anterior tooth group. The restorations were performed using flowable composite materials such as Clearfil Majesty ES Flow and Brilliant Flow. Results. According to the obtained data, the Injection Moulding technique requires an operative time of approximately 30 minutes, whereas direct restoration by layering requires, an average of 50 minutes. This difference can be explained by the fact that the Injection Moulding Technique utilizes a transparent silicone index that already replicates the final restoration morphology, thereby eliminating the need for manual modeling, as required in direct layered restorations. Conclusions. The development of a structured clinical protocol for the restoration of anterior teeth using the Injection Moulding technique has confirmed its applicability in achieving stable restorations with optimal adaptation and harmonious morphological integration with adjacent structures. en_US
