dc.description.abstract Ovarian cancer is the most frequent cause of death among malignant tumors, especially in the well-developed countries, the main reason of it being late diagnosis (70-75 per cent). Because of the difficulty of its early diagnosis, it is also called a "silent killer". Cancerul ovarian este cauza cea mai frecventă de deces printre tumorile maligne, mai ales în ţările dezvoltate, motivul principal fiind diagnosticul tardiv (70-75%). Din cauza dificultăţii diagnosticului precoce mai este numit “ucigaş tăcut” (silent killer). en_US
