Abstract:
Free access to medical help for the whole population is one of the basic principle of
Public Health. Finantial reforms carried out in system of public health service lately (i.e.
obligatory medical insurance) made the medical service for the population more accessible,
especially urgent medical help. This result is confirmed by increased public health index (decline
of perinatal mortality, death-rate at home and number of childbirth at home).
Improved availability of urgent medical help for population also resulted in better acces
to stationary and primary medical help, but that requires effective management in the whole
public health service components: urgent pre-hospital medical help, primary and stationary
medical help.
