Unele aspecte bioetice ale psihiatriei

Abstract

Some bioethical aspects of psychiatry Psychiatry is an extremely specific branch of medicine which, due to its features, requires a special bioethical approach. Following the bibliographical analysis it may be concluded that in the course of social evolution the ethical aspect of the doctor-patient relationship, especially from the psychiatric perspective, undergoes important modifications. The principles of the contemporaneous medical ethics attempt to keep the autonomy of the persons with mental deficiencies and direct the society towards a more tolerant attitude regarding the persons with mental disorders.

Psihiatria este o latură extrem de specifică a medicinii, care datorită particulartăţilor sale necesită o abordare bioetică deosebită. În urma efectuării analizei literaturii de specialitate se poate concluziona faptul că pe parcursul evoluţiei societăţii, aspectul etic în relaţia medicpacient, în mod special din perspectiva psihiatriei, suferă modificări importante. Principiile eticii medicale contemporane încearcă să păstreze autonomia persoanelor cu dificienţe mintale şi să orienteze societatea spre o atitudine mai tolerantă faţă de persoanele cu dereglări psihice.
