Abstract:
The arrhythmias that lead to hemodynamic deterioration and sudden death are one of the most challenging problems in children with congenital heart disease (CHD) after cardiac surgery. Fifty patients with CHD and late postoperative arrhythmias were included in this study; the mean age of children was 126, 94 months. These children were evaluated to determine the frequency and the types of arrhythmias after different procedures of cardiac surgery and to identify the anatomical forms of CHD.
