dc.description.abstract The aim of this article is to show the key points regarding the crucial role of mast cells in supporting and promoting tumor progression. The article reveals important facts about both the immunosuppressive function of mast cells, that greatly enhances the tumor progression, as well as the changes in intercellular junctions induced by mast cell activity. Additionally, the article focuses on blood and lymphatic vessels growth provided by mast cell activity, an essential prerequisite necessary for tumor growth.
