Abstract:
Oral administration of sulphated polysaccharides from Spirulina (SPS) at a dose of 125 mg/kg in normal physiological conditions had an immunomodulating effect, mostly immunostimulatory; its main manifestation was the essential increase of the absolute number of lymphocytes in the peripheral blood. In CCl4 intoxication SPS promoted reliable reduction of the neutrophilic index, basophilic index and increase of the nuclear deviation index, which was an evidence of its involvement in the modulation of the phagocytic and bactericidal properties and in the decrease of the excessive inflammatory response in toxic hepatitis.
Administrarea per os a polizaharidelor sulfatate din spirulină (PSS) în doză de 125 mg/kg în condiţii fiziologice normale exercită un efect imunomodulator, preponderent imunostimulant evident, fapt demonstrat prin creşterea esenţială a numărului absolut al limfocitelor din sângele periferic. În intoxicaţia cu CCl4 PSS favorizează reducerea veridică a indicilor neutrofilic, bazofilic şi majorarea raportului indicelui devierii nucleare, ceea ce demonstrează participarea lui în modularea activităţii fagocitare şi bactericide, precum şi la diminuarea reacţiilor inflamatorii excesive în hepatita toxică (HT).
