Abstract:
The aim of the study was the evaluation of efficacy and pharmacological hepatoprotective and antioxidant properties of medicinal product Neamon-hepa administered to laboratory mice with chronic liver injury induced by carbon tetraclorure. The study results showed that Neamon-Hepa treatment neither reduces body weight nor increases liver weight in the mice chronically intoxicated with CCl4; it alleviates the hepatic injury to a considerable extent which was reflected by the ability of the compound to decrease the activity of aminotransferases, alkaline phosphatase and lactatdehidrogenase. The antioxidant activity of the drug is evident due to the increase of superoxide dismutase, catalase and glutathione peroxidase activity.
Scopul acestui studiu a fost aprecierea eficacităţii şi a proprietăţilor farmacologice hepatoprotectoare şi antioxidante ale preparatului medicamentos Neamon-hepa la animale de laborator. În rezultatul cercetărilor s-a stabilit ca Neamon-hepa nu a indus actiune toxică acută în dozele maxime posibile injectate intraperitoneal, iar administrarea cronica a preparatului nu a modificat substantial parametrii investigaţi. Neamon-hepa folosit în tratamentul hepatitei toxice iduse cu tetraclorură de carbon a demonstrat acţiune hepatoprotectoare marcată. S-a micşorat activitatea transaminazelor, fosfatazei alcaline şi lactatdehidrogenazei şi nivelul bilirubinei. Totodata preparatul a demonstrat actiune antioxidantă pronunţată, manifestată prin cresterea activităţii superoxiddismutazei, catalazei, glutationperoxidozei şi diminuarea peroxidarii lipidice.
