dc.description.abstract It has been established by means of macroscopic and statistical methods that an accessory spleen is most commonly detected near the lineal hilus of the basic organ, it is supplied by the branches of the lineal artery and innervated by the nerve trunks of the lineal and pancreatic plexuses.
