Aspecte epidemiologice ale infecţiei HIV/SIDA în municipiul Chişinău, anii 1992-2010

Abstract

Epidemiological aspects of HIV infection in Chisinau city The article presents the evolutional and epidemiological data concerning the spread of HIV infection in Chisinau city. The study presents the rezults of the epidemiological analyses of the 1126 native persons infected with HIV registered in Chisinau city between 1992 and 2010. It was showed that the antiretroviral treatment contributes to prophylaxis of perinatal transmition of HIV infection and prolongates the span of life of the persons that live with HIV.

În articol sunt prezentate evoluţia şi particularităţile epidemiologice ale infecţiei HIV în municipiul Chişinău. Studiul cuprinde toate cazurile de infecţie HIV (n=1126) înregistrate în municipiul Chişinău printre cetăţenii autohtoni, pe parcursul anilor 1992-2010. A fost demonstrat rolul tratamentului antiretroviral în profilaxia transmiterii perinatale a infecţiei HIV şi în prelungirea duratei de viaţă a persoanelor ce trăiesc cu HIV/SIDA.
