dc.description.abstract Introduction. Spinal pain, in its acute and chronic forms is commonly evaluated by rheumatologists. In order to separate patients with mechanical disorders from those with rare systemic disorderswe need an organized approach. Purpose. To study the clinical and paraclinical aspects of rheumatic pathologies in relation to the pain syndrome in the cervico-dorso-lumbar spine. Conclusions. The results of Pearson’s correlation-coeficient indicated a signiicant correlation between age and backpain (r= 0.9946; P< 0.001) also backpain and gender. In other words, backpain is associated more frequent with older women. The causes of spinal pain in rheumatic diseases are multifactorial starting with: environment (rural 69.56%), sex (women 75.86%) etc. en_US
