Abstract:
The abstract analyzes bibliographic sources in order to identify the key
elements that significantly affect how well children with disabilities are
included in education in the Republic of Moldova. As a result, factors like:
1. An unsuitable physical setting in educational facilities; 2. A lack of staff
in schools; 3. The general perception of disability as a “disease”; and low
parental acceptance on the part of parents of children without disabilities
contribute to attitudes toward school segregation. In conclusion, community infrastructure improvements, encouragement for teachers and educators, and public awareness campaigns are the three essential recommendations that have a direct impact on the effectiveness of the educational
inclusion process.
