dc.description.abstract Background. Traumatic injuries of the upper limb, such as dislocations, fractures, or peripheral nerve damage, can significantly impair both functionality and quality of life for patients. Occupational therapy, combined with kinetotherapy, plays a vital and essential role in the comprehensive rehabilitation process. Objective(s). The Objective(s). of this study is to review the specialized literature to determine the effectiveness of physical and occupational rehabilitation in regaining upper limb function. Materials and methods. This study provides a narrative synthesis of specialized literature. Articles were carefully selected using relevant keywords in databases such as BMJ and PubMed. The research included focuses on evaluating rehabilitation interventions for dislocations, fractures, and injuries to peripheral nerves and joints of the upper limb. Results. Most of the selected studies indicate that personalized kinetotherapy programs, combined with occupational therapy interventions focused on daily activities, lead to significant improvements in joint mobility, muscle strength, fine motor control, and pain reduction. These interventions, tailored to the specific needs of each patient, have demonstrated clear positive outcomes. The study Results. s highlighted substantial functional progress, especially when therapy was initiated early, immediately after the injury. This underscores the critical importance of timely intervention to achieve optimal recovery and enhance overall patient outcomes. Conclusion(s). Early and integrated interventions of kinesitherapy and occupational therapy significantly aid the functional recovery of the upper limb after trauma. Personalized programs improve mobility, strength, and autonomy, promoting both social and professional reintegration for patients. en_US
