Abstract:
Histological researches in cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN), using the imunohistochemistry method, proves the special impact of the macrophage cell activity, as well as the other cells of the immune system (neutrophils, leukocytes). The progression of the tumor, that was considered to affect just the epithelial cells seems to involve the cells (macrophages, neutrophils, leukocytes, dendritic cells) of the immune system also, converting them for the extension of the tumor. This phenomenon is observed mostly in the macrophage cells activity, because these are the cells with one of the greatest spectrum of phagocytosis.
